CALL FOR CAPES / CNPq
MASTERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC)

Eligible target audience:

Students enrolled (Special and Regular) in the master’s course of the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic School of USP.

stipulated period , the next candidate on the qualifying list will be contacted. This procedure continues until all available scholarships are implemented or until there are no more qualified candidates. Note 1: If there is more than one scholarship available and of different types, the candidate classified and interested in implementing the scholarship will be able to choose their preference (Ex: CAPES or CNPq scholarship).

Validity of the classification list:
The classification list prepared by the commission is valid until another classification list is drawn up in a subsequent call for scholarships of the same type. The new list automatically replaces the previous one. The frequency of calls for scholarships is at the discretion of the Program Coordinating Committee (CCP).
Obs 4: In the event of a new call for a certain type of scholarship, candidates already present in a classificatory list and not yet contemplated must register again in order to participate in the new call and remain in the new classificatory list.

The implementation of the scholarship will take place as of the regularization of the enrollment, that is, the approval of the research project with the CCP.
Candidates who entered previous periods will not be considered eligible if they have received grade C or have failed a postgraduate course.

Registration:
The registration period for applications will be from 03/31/20 to 04/14/20, until 11:59 pm, by e-mail ( posgradcivil@usp.br ).
The documentation to be sent upon registration is designated below.

Selection of candidates:
After the end of registration, a committee will prepare a classification list of candidates according to the criteria presented below. This classificatory list will list the preferential order for granting scholarships, as they become available.

Dissemination of the results:
The classification list of candidates will be published on the page of the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic School of USP on 04/30/20.

Scholarship implementation:
If the scholarship is available, the program secretariat will contact the next candidate on the qualifying list who has not yet received a scholarship by e-mail. This must express the confirmation of interest in the implementation of the scholarship within 5 (five) working days from the contact. In the absence of interest or non-expression of interest within the
stipulated period , the next candidate on the qualifying list will be contacted. This procedure continues until all available scholarships are implemented or until there are no more qualified candidates.

Note 1: If there is more than one scholarship available and of different types, the candidate classified and interested in implementing the scholarship will be able to choose their preference (Ex: CAPES or CNPq scholarship).
Note 2: The granting of the scholarship requires exclusive dedication to academic activities.
Note 3: The availability of scholarships occurs as other students finish their studies and research in the program. Thus, there is no way to accurately predict the number of scholarships to be offered in a given period.
